(Above) Here she is in Japan - prior to shipping to the UK

(Above) Engine bay looking pretty filthy - the car had probably been stood for some time.

(Above) Interior pictures, the standard interioris very intrusive and does no favours to people as large as I am!

(Above) Carefully wrapped up with bumper removed for transit.

(Above) Here she is with the interior mostly removed. We did this the first day we had the car!

(Above) Sat on the MOT lift in the garage on her first day in my ownership - poor car. Notice the massive intercooler and Trust oil coolers.

(Above) now at ATP developments, you can see in the above pictures further stripping of the interior and removal of soundproofing. Also the first appearance of the new seats and steering wheel. Foot plate also fitted for checking. With me in the car we had the steering column moved to give me more leg room.

(Above) You can now see the fabricated Aluminium panels and dashboard taking shape. They are extremely light.

(Above) Relocated battery to the boot, you can also see where the sound proofing has been removed.

(Above) Interior now painted - note the strength brace in the back of the car. We wanted to fit a full roll cage but sadly there was not enough room due to the size of the drivers!

(Above) Front bumper now repaired, strengthened and painted ready for fitment.

(Above) Aluminium dash and door trim ready for fitment. The top of the dashboard is painted in a satin black to stop sun glare.

(Above) Finished interior, car now on the road.

(Above) Pictures of the car taken on its first outing in the New Forest.

(Above) Pictures of the car with the decals now in place.

(Above) The engine bay - in particular the awesome T78-33D turbocharger installation.

(Above) A couple of pictures taken on an evening outing.

(Above) Now all finished with the rear wing in place.

(Above) on the front cover of the very first issue of J-Tuner magazine

(Above) In the 2nd issue of J-tuner after a slipping clutch stopped us from challenging the UK RX7 top speed record!

(Above) Picture of end plate from the new engine, sporting a bridge port for maximum power.

(Above) The new turbo - HKS T04Z

(Above) Engine bay as it looks these days (less air filter)

(Above) Now fitted with T51R Kai HKS turbocharger.

(Above) now with the original 'pop up' style headlights fitted, just needs painting.

(Above) Engine power graph, huge power and torque available from as little as 4,000 rpm on the road, pulling hard all the way to the 9,000 rpm redline.
