2001 (December) Integra Type R, 2.0 IVTEC

Yet another stunning VTEC powered car, the new Integra Type R makes 217bhp from its 2.0 16valve 4 cylinder engine and revs to 8500rpm. The IVTEC is meant to have a lot more bottom engine power than the stunning powerplant in the DC2 (previous generation Integra Type R). I have seen these cars on track - they are stunning. Probably THE best front wheel drive car available.

Its a little more refined than the old Integra, it has ABS, PAS, AC, EW, SRS air bags etc. All the goodies.

The car is Blue Metalic and 6spd Manual, 30,000 miles on the clock, Factory 17" alloys with good tyres, Brembo brakes, Limited slip differential, Stainless steel exhaust - possibly Mugen, Momo race steering wheel. Contrasting blue Recaro interior, which looks awesome.

The joy of these cars is the performance and reliability, service them properly and you can rev it up to the limiter day in day out and the engine will probably last WELL over 150,000 miles. I owned a DC2 and in 90,000 miles all it needed was a set of brake pads and a clutch. Stunning cars.
